After abruptly canceling his 2024 tour with his band, Crazy Horse, before playing Chicago, he
has confirmed a world tour with his new backing band ‘The Chrome Hearts’
Who are ‘The Chrome Hearts’?

Neil Young's new backing band consists of Micah Nelson on Guitar and Vocals, Corey McCormick on bass and Vocals, Anthony Lofgero on Drums, and Spooner Oldham on Organ. Micah and Cormick were previously in the Band ‘Promise of the real’ lead by Lukas Nelson. They had previously recorded and toured with Neil before recently taking a hiatus.
What to Expect From the Setlist
Neil recently mentioned on his website that the tour will feature “Old songs and New songs. Old words and new words. Long Jams!” During the 2024 tour with his band Crazy Horse, he unveiled all of his hits for fans. Songs like Heart of Gold, Comes A Time, and Hey Hey, My My, were featured in the setlist. Perhaps an acoustic solo set during the show?
What to Expect From the Tour
The world tour sweeps through Europe, UK, Canada, and the U.S. The first show will kick off June 18th in Sweden, and then end at the Hollywood Bowl in California. One of the concerts in the UK is at the Hyde Park festival in London and the Glastonbury festival. The Hyde Park lineup includes Van Morrison, Cat Stevens, and of course, Neil Young. The tour continues through the U.S. stopping at Chicago’s Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly island August 27th.
