First-Years Podcast: Mr. Archbold

What’s life like for someone who is new to LT? What are our teachers like? What do they like to do? All of these questions and more are answered in my podcast First Years.

In our first episode I sat down with Mr. Archbold and got to know the man behind the accounting I & II, introduction to business, and keyboarding teacher. I asked him what he likes to do and how his first year experiences at LT were going. But that's not what this post is about though.

Besides the interview I asked Mr. Archbold a different series of questions specifically for this post for our readers to get more of an idea of what he is like.

Here are those questions:

1. What are you watching/reading/listening to right now?

Listening: "Quote of the day" a podcast in which there are short clips of the world's leading personal development speakers.

Reading: The color of compromise by Jemar Tisby

Watching: Whatever that is good on TV

2. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?

Anything with Peanut Butter. Vanilla W/Peanut Butter, Chocolate W/Peanut Butter.

3. What is your favorite food?

Love Ribs, brisket and good hot wings with blue cheese. Anything sweet is always good as well.

4. If you could give a shoutout to one person, who would it be and why?

I would shout Mr. Mathis because he has been extremely intentional about connecting with me since I've come to LT and it is appreciated.

5. Are you a dog or cat person?

Horrible question. I'm a dog person. I'm still trying to figure out the purpose of cats!

6. What is one thing that you think everyone should experience?

Alone time. It allows you to be uncomfortable with your own thoughts. You have to deal with them and figure out what to do.

7. What is your favorite animal?

I like my small Yorkie. He could bark way less but he's ok.
